This verse seen in today’s Our Daily Bread sums up my year pretty well:
From Psalm 40:2
He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.
2011 was the year of experiencing this new firm place to stand. I am thankful and am excited for what God will bring in 2012.
